Kelowna Private Events was founded in 2022 by Chef and Owner Mike Wiggins. Mike has been cooking since he was 10 years old. He used to cook with his Aunt Cathy when she came to town to visit. They would try new and different things, each time ,serving up their offerings to the family. This eventually led him to enrol in culinary school and a career in hospitality. Upon graduation he worked his way across Canada before ultimately settling in Kelowna.

Mike spent the last seven years cooking in the valley, plying his trade at Mission Hill Family Estate and Waterfont Wines before ultimately deciding to go out on his own. During his time at these establishments, he has formed relationships and connections with some of the best suppliers The Valley has to offer and can’t wait to bring their products to your table.
